Happy Birthday Canada! And it’s a special one – 150 years.
If you’re in the Milton area, then you might be wondering what great activities you can do this weekend. The good news is that there is a lot going on and we’ve put together a list:
Canada Day Milton, Saturday, July 1 at 11:30am. Held at the Robert St Milton Fairgrounds, we’ve been going to this event for years and it has only gotten better. The official website, www.miltoncanadaday.ca has all of the information, but the best part is the fireworks at 10pm (rain or shine!). Admission is free and there is even a free shuttle service to the Milton Fairgrounds courtesy of Milton Transit.
Pick Your Own Strawberries, June 30-July 2. Looking for something a little more interactive? Look for further than the strawberry festival at Andrews’ Scenic Acres (www.andrewsscenicacres.com) or pick-your-own at Stonehaven Farm (www.stonehavenfarms.com). Both are great places to visit and are family oriented. Pack a hat and some sunscreen and you’ll have a great time. There’s bound to be some spots of sunshine amongst all of this rain!
City of Burlington’s Canada Day, July 1 at 12:00pm. The City of Burlington puts on some great festivals (Ribfest!) and their Canada Day celebration will not disappoint. It starts with a run in the morning at Spencer Smith Park and then kicks off the music on the main stage, face painting and other family friendly activities in the family zone, and offers lots of vendors and food kiosks.
Storage Solutions, Saturday July 1 9:00am-5:00pm. Feel like reorganizing your garage? Decluttering your spare bedroom? Staging your house? Setting up your offsite warehouse? The friendly staff at Storage Solutions will be here from 9-5 on Saturday, July 1, 2017, celebrating Canada’s 150!
Have a wonderful Canada Day and enjoy the long weekend. Visit us at 9200 Twiss Rd, Milton, Ontario, call us at 905-854-1008 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Even if it’s to give us updates on how great the strawberries are this year!
Your friend in self-storage,
