New Hamburg, Ontario, is gearing up for a vibrant lineup of events this spring and summer, and we couldn’t be more excited!

1. Wilmot Horticultural Society Events
The Wilmot Horticultural Society has planned engaging activities for nature enthusiasts. One event you’ll want to check out is the Native Shrubs Field Trip to Bee Sweet on May 19, 2025. From 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, you can join Marion Anderson for an insightful trip to Bee Sweet. Participants can carpool or drive individually. 2. Moparfest – Canada's Largest All Mopar Car Show
Car enthusiasts, mark your calendars for August 16-17, 2025, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, rain or shine! Held at 251 Jacob St, New Hamburg, Moparfest showcases a vast array of Mopar vehicles – over a thousand! The 2025 event promises live music by local artist Johnny Borton, kids' Power Wheels drag racing, and a chance to win a combined cash grand prize of $10,000 for pre-registered vehicles (2000 or older) by July 3, 2025. 3. Canada Day Celebrations in Wilmot

4. Saturday Farmers’ Market
Who doesn’t love a good Farmers Market! The Kitchener Market is close by and offers so much more than just fresh and delicious food. It’s a longstanding tradition where families can pick up groceries, enjoy meals, and participate in occasional live music and other family-friendly events. The Kitchener Market is open year-round on Saturdays from 7am to 2pm. Since they have lots of fun and different things going on all the time, plan ahead so you don’t miss out.
